I HAVE BOUGHT A PACKAGE, WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

Once a package has been purchased a member of the team will contact you to gather the information for your website content and how you would like it to look. You will then get sent some examples to pick a theme you like and the build will begin. You will be able to see the build in progress live and can make any changes you like. Once complete other changes will be part of the general maintenance.

DO YOU OFFER ECOMMERCE WEBSITES?

Currently we do not offer Ecommerce websites (online shops). This may change in the future.

WHICH HOSTING PROVIDER IS USED FOR THE WEBSITES?

We use Ionos / 1and1 for our web hosting. They provide great hosting with high availability so you will never have a problem with your website.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I WANT TO CANCEL MY PACKAGE OR DOMAIN?

As you can pay month by month (1 month minimum) and you can cancel at any time. Please bear in mind that domain names have to be registered for 1 year minimum so if you wanted to go elsewhere you will have to sort out a domain transfer. There will be additional time/transfer cost to facilitate the transfer.

HOW LONG DOES MY WEBSITE TAKE TO BUILD?

Generally a standard site should be up and running within the space of a week at the most providing you are happy and do not make further changes. As you can make unlimited changes once the site is up and running most only require slight amendments (news articles/blog posts updates etc).

CAN I PICK ANOTHER TLD (TOP LEVEL DOMAIN NAME)?

YES you can! We offer either a .com or a .co.uk free with each package or you can pay for another type. We have 2 options available covering the most common requests and a 3rd which will cover any request however the price of those can vary a lot.

WHO REGISTERS THE DOMAIN NAME?

Shallbyte Ltd will register the domain name (.com or .co.uk) on your behalf. If you want a different type there will be an additional yearly cost.
